What data we collect

Care Compass is a static website. We do not have user accounts and do not require registration. The data we may collect includes:

  • Analytics: anonymised page view data (pages visited, time on site, device type) to understand how the site is used and improve it. No personally identifiable information is collected.
  • Local storage: your nation preference and Learn page lesson progress are stored in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.
  • Tool inputs: all tool calculations (prescription cost, waiting time, complaint deadline) are computed in your browser. Nothing you type into a tool is sent to our servers.
  • Contact form: if you submit a question or feedback, we receive your message and email address to reply. We do not share this with third parties.

Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies:

  • Analytics cookies: set by our analytics provider to count visits and page views anonymously. These do not identify you personally.
  • No advertising cookies. We do not use tracking pixels or advertising networks.
